Woodworkshop was set up by Jon Lancaster and has been in existence since 2005.
Our designs are strongly influenced by simplified line, shape and form which creates a fluidity with its surroundings. We attain the ethos that – “Good design together with the correct construction method creates the perfect finished piece”.
Woodworkshop has the capacity with its well-equipped workshop and skilled craftsmen to produce large-scale projects with the most challenging of procedures. All works are carried out in-house to maintain full control of all processes in order to achieve a problem free product.
High quality projects created over the years have been completed for :-
St Gobain, London.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield.
Barbara Hepworth Museum, Wakefield.
Henry Moore Institute, Leeds.
Leeds Oncology Unit
Lincoln and Norfolk Libraries
as well as many domestic quality projects based in Huddersfield, Leeds, Cheshire, Sheffield, London, Venice and Murcia, Spain
Woodworkshop can be found at Moll Springs, Netherton, which is between Holmfirth and Huddersfield and is open for anyone to come and have an informal discussion and view some of our current work.
